Sixteen players including four ladies entered the tournament. They played in 2 leagues of 4 teams who each played 3 games, with the winners of League A playing the runners up in League B in some semi final and the winnders of League B playing the runners up in League A in the other semi-final.
All teams were very closely matched with half of the Group matches going to a third game. The losing semi finalists were Malcolm Wood/Nic Noller and Fran Blake/Graham Brown with the final contested between Ed Percival/Matthew Boschi and Richard Hopp/Chris Read. Ed and Matt ran out winners by 2 games to love (15/14, 15/10) - a repeat of their earlier group match.
